ਇਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੀਰੀ ਪੀਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ, ਛੇਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਭਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮਨਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਵ: ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਨੁਮਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢੀਂਡਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਲੀਮਾਨੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸੰਤ ਬਲਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਘੁੰਨਸ ਦੀ ਦੂਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਸੋਚ ਸਦਕਾ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੂੰਘਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਅਮਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੀ.ਏ.ਦੇ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਸਦਕਾ ਸਾਲ 2009 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰ ਕਮਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਤੀ 29-01-2009 ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਹੋਰ ਪੜ੍ਹੋ

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Miri Khalsa College, Bhadaur(Barnala), is a new educational venture of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Amritsar, which came into existence as a result of the Guru’s grace as well as marathon efforts put in by S. Baldev Singh Chunghan , member of SGPC. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee is duty bound for the spread of the light of education. Every effort will be made to ensure that the youth of the country are aware of the great Sikh history, and have an abiding faith in the teachings of the great Gurus. We want to awaken new thinking, the spirit of innovation and a unique sensibility among the students. We are trying to provide highly specialized infrastructure to the students of this rural belt so that they do not have to rush to the cities for competitive excellence. read more

I feel immense pleasure at the establishment of Miri Piri Khalsa College, Bhadaur, Barnala with the blessings of Hon’ble S. Sukhbir Singh Ji Badal, Deputy CM, Punjab and under the dynamic leadership of Jathedar Avtar Singh, President, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar, S. Baldev Singh Chunghan, member of SGPC, also played a prominent role in the opening of this institution in this area. PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
The foundation stone of Miri Piri Khalsa College, Bhadaur was laid by S. Sukhvir Singh ji Badal, Hon’ble Deputy Cheif Minister of Punjab on 29 January, 2009 with marathon efforts put in by S. Baldev Singh Chunghan, member of SGPC. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib, under the visionary leadership of Jathedar Avtar Singh Ji and with untiring efforts and passion of Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Director of Education, has established this Institution with high and noble aspirations. SGPC has opened hundreds of educational institutions to spread the divine message of Sikhism along with high quality education to the youth of Punjab and nearby states. This college will cater to the educational needs of this area and also provide leadership in the field of Sikh ethics combined with cultural and literary activities. Read more
